The first Japanese Steakhouse...Christmas time with the kids

I have been so busy lately, it's been hard to find the time to blog. Since it's that special time of year....for family and friends...I started feeling great regret about not keeping up with the blog.

Not only have I not kept up with the blog, I haven't kept up with my fantasy football teams either. I dread looking at the standings. I don't want to see how far behind I am.

To sum up the last few weeks, Christmas fever has over taken the family. I put a row of big bulbed colored lights along the gutter of the hours, and I think they look great. I plan on putting up lights along the porch of my parent's house when we visit tomorrow (hopefully after Church).

Another bit of news I have is that we took the kids to our favorite Japanese steakhouse last night (Sapporos). It was a big hit. Collins played like he was the "baker", hitting his knife and spoon together and trying to give us his food. He liked the onion volcano (of course), and he got tricked 2 times. They pretended to squired him with liguid and then "get" him with a spider in a box trick. He loved it. He knew something was coming. So did Grace (I felt the wind from her when she ran past me to stand behind my chair). It was a great time. Expensive...yes...but it was a special Christmas dinner.
